Titanium and titanium alloys are investigated in the Titanium Research Group for more than 15 years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Consequently, IfW\u2019s role within the project is the opimisation of the materials properties of different titanium alloys with conventional as well as nano-crystalline (being produced at the TU Darmstadt) microstructures for dental implant applications.
